Would anyone happen to have tickets to the sold-out Avenged Sevenfold/CKY Cities of Evil show in Grand Rapids Michigan that they would be willing to sell me? I'll pay good money for them.

The Imp Villains [08 Dec 2005|08:07pm]

So this past Sunday, the show was great. All bands were awesome.

Anyway, there's talk about the Imp Villains doing some Christmas show at the Token Lounge on December 22.

I'll find out more about that.

Wiki for punk rock [31 Oct 2005|03:55pm]

Punknet.com announced the launch of a Wiki for punk rock. The new
offering will allow the punk community to add to, edit and evolve a
vast network of information. From listing bands, zines, and labels to
adding an extensive file of DIY resources, the Punk Wiki looks to
become the hub of punk information on the Internet.

Already a vibrant social network with 4,500 members, free of the
clutter and constraints of Myspace, Punknet is looking to become the
communications hub of the punk scene. The site already created the
ability for bands and labels to run their own social networks via
subcommunities, or groups. Now the wiki, editable by anyone, will give
punks all over the world access to information on venues, bands,
scenes, people and political activism.

A wiki enables documents to be written collectively (co-authoring) in a
simple markup using a web browser. A single page in a wiki is referred
to as a "wiki page", while the entire body of pages, which are usually
highly interconnected via hyperlinks, is "the wiki"; in effect, a very
simple, easier to use database.

A defining characteristic of wiki technology is the ease with which
pages can be created and updated. Generally, there is no review before
modifications are accepted. Most wikis are open to the general public
without the need to register any user account. Sometimes session log-in
is requested to acquire a "wiki-signature" cookie for autosigning
edits. More private wiki servers require user authentication.

Concert Info [22 Oct 2005|10:59am]
Feeling a little down? The cold weather beating at your back? Maybe you need a little bit of moshing in your life? Sounds good to me! That's why I'm here today.

This comming Sunday, October 23, there's a pretty wicked show up at the Token. The White Lies and Secondhand Suicide are kicking out the jams and doors open at six. Admission is only seven bucks, so don't be a cheap bastard.

I'm going to assume you know how to get there--if not, scrole down, assholes.
